All of the world class ski resorts surrounding Chalet Merlo are under 20 minutes away and each offers a variety of star qualities, providing an abundance of choices for all tastes and abilities. They are all at snow sure heights so powder and snow depth are a certainty.

For those that like an excursion away from the main stream, or simply want to have some fun with other winter activities, the list of possibilities is impressive. Ice skating in Val d'Isere, snow shoeing in Ste Foy or paragliding in Tignes only scratch the surface of activities available.
